Dermalogica is one of the first professional skincare brands I ever tried, and it helped to form my love of everything beauty. If you purchase Dermalogica from a salon you can receive a free face mapping analysis, and I would recommend this process to anyone looking to try the brand.
Two of my must have products from Dermalogica are their Multi Active Toner and Active Moist:
These are two base products which work well with most cleansers (I like their Special Cleansing Gel for normal to sensitive skin, or their Skin Resurfacing Cleanser to help manage skin aging.)
Unlike traditional toners, the Multi Active Toner sprays on in a fine mist. It doesn't dry out your skin, instead it helps to refresh and hydrate and it is especially good for your face during winter. It sets the scene for your moisturiser and contains Lavender to soothe as well as Balm Mint and Arnica.
I find that Active Moist is most suitable for combination or oily skin because it is oil free. It's a lovely light moisturiser which doesn't leave your skin feeling clogged or irritated. Dermalogica give the right mix of ingredients to create a skincare range that is professional quality.
It is worth investing in this brand as a little goes a long way and the differences you will see in your skin is definitely worth the extra dollars. The above products contain no artificial colour of fragrance.
